It's all about lines:
The finishing line at the end of the residency
waiting in lines for a chance at the operating table
and then there's the most important line
the line seperating you from the people you work with
It doesn't help to get too familiar
to make friends
you need boundries, between you and the rest of the world
other people are far too messy
It's all about lines: drawing lines in the sand
and pray like hell no one crosses them

But there're some lines..that're way too dangerous to cross..
Here's what I know
If you are willing to take the chance
that the view from other side...is spectacular.

【Sex and The City Season Four-- EPISODE 66: I HEART NY】

Carrie:
Later that night,I've got to thinking about fate, the crazy concept that we are not really responsible for the courses our real life takes,
But it's all predictive, reading in the stars, maybe that explains why,if you live in the city, where you can't even see the stars, your love life tends to feel a little more random, and even if our every man, every kiss, every heartache,is pre-order from some cosmic catalog,
can we still take a wrong step and wonder off our personal milkyway?I couldn't help but wonder, can you make a mistake and miss your fate?

Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.
